4 Stars Nice TV, but with a sound problem
This is the second Samsung HDTV we’ve purchased in the past 6 months. The first 37″ has been excellent, but this one (22″) has a great picture but the sound tends to experience static. This may be because it is the second set connected to one receiver – we are working on that problem with the satellite provider.

Hi, I’m currently stationed in Iraq and we’ve got 240 volts here. Can any of you guys/gal who bought this screen check for me if it says 110-240 volts on the power adapter? Thank you so much.

I have bought the new plasma 58 inch HDTV from Panasonic and I must share my astonishment. All of our family got together on a couch to watch a movie. The picture and audio were just stunning. It was an experience that I have never had before nor have I thought I’d have.

I can still remember black and white TV sets and compared to this, it is a huge leap that I have never imagined to witness myself. When I was a child, I could have never imagined in my wildest dreams there would be things like this in future. Now I am seeing these things and all I can say is wow.

The picture is crystal clear. I’ve heard that phrase so many times and I thought it was such a cliche to say it. I always thought they should have come up with something more practical to describe it, but when you see it with your own eyes, you are literally speechless. It’s crystal clear!

To really describe it I guess you should say it’s like watching through window, only that it’s a better quality view that watching the view outside. But can a picture be of a better quality than the real view?

You see, my eyes aren’t the same so that adds to the effect too. But I think that in reality there is many disturbance. You cannot see as good into far distance or you can’t see as good from close at something, so that view gets kinda distorts. In HDTV picture, you see the picture from the same distance at once and with the detail level that 1080p pulls off it’s like watching reality in better quality.

“Reality in better quality”. I’ll take the credit for coining that line (at least I’ve never heard that before). I think that there’s a future to move even further, but at this stage the picture can hardly get any better in this frame. But we can look forward to 3D TV or something else that can add depth to what we have and again move the bar even higher.
